L'annuncio

Prima o poi glielo avremmo dovuto dire al mondo, così abbiamo aspettato un tempo minimo di sicurezza e poi lo abbiamo detto a suoceri e genitori.
Un pranzo dai miei ci ha fatto da base:
D: sapete, da novembre mi daranno una promozione molto importante..e definitiva.
Mamma: aaah che bello! che promozione?
D: …divento papà

---ammutolimento generale, occhi sgranati, brividi---

Babbo: ..no dai, adesso dimmi la promozione vera su!
Mamma: (mani sulla faccia e occhi sbarrati) MA MA MA ma io mi sono appena fatta un tatuaggio! non sono pronta!
Fratello: (con sorrisone) che figata!!

E' andata, e da lì non ci è voluto molto prima che lo dicessimo a parenti e amici, e adesso che il mio ombelico se ne sta andando e la pancia cresce dal giorno alla notte, non vedo l'ora di abbracciarli i miei cuccioli! E ci siamo tutti lasciati andare, passata la morfologica, la nonna A ci ha regalato due tutine deliziose, la nonna M due bavaglini scherzosi e due tutine le abbiamo prese pure noi. Trattenere gli occhi a cuore è sempre più difficile!

Sorprese

Quando sono rimasta incinta, sono partita col freno tirato, perchè certe cose bisogna viverle a pieno sì, ma siccome a volte vanno male, rimango -anche se lo so, così non te le godi- un passo indietro per non dare una facciata sul muro. Questo però non significa che non fossi contenta eh!

La prima volta che siamo andati a fare una visita, il dottore ci ha detto: "eh si, c'è qualcosa lì, ma è ancora troppo presto, non si vede praticamente nulla".
Così ce ne siamo tornati a casa con un bel carico d'ansia. Fiato sospeso fino all'incontro successivo.
Quindi la seconda visita, dottore con occhi puntati sul monitor, e io con occhi puntati sul marito, casomai gli venissero le gambe di burro.
E poi, il dottore tutto concentrato spara:" maaaaaaaaaaaa, avete per caso casi di gemellarità in famiglia??"
BABAM!
Mi metto a ridere, perchè cosa vuoi fare?!? Guardo mio marito, con le mani sulla bocca e gli occhi a cuore.
In fondo le cose facili a noi non sono mai piaciute, doppio matrimonio di cui uno fuori Stato, restauro lampo seguito da me, che mai avrei pensato di poter affrontare muratori e idraulici e adesso pancia doppia!

Io non dico che me l'aspettavo, ma sapendo che c'era una predisposizione familiare, non sono rimasta traumatizzata. Dvd un attimino di sbarellamento ce l'ha avuto, e anche i miei che ancora non si aspettavano nemmeno la gravidanza. Ma siamo sempre stati felici, fin dall'inizio e lo saremo anche nelle notti insonni che ci attendono. Sarà dura, durissima, ma se ce l'ha fatta mia nonna negli anni '50 con un quinto o meno dei mezzi che abbiamo oggi, possiamo farcela pure noi!

A friend of us, Marica made the statuettes with "fimo", I can't translate it... it is something similar to the Plasticine, but you have to put it in the oven to harden it. 

What do you think about the pictures? I think we had a really wonderful and precious wedding, nothing was wrong! We are really really happy of our work!

Our Special Day, Marriage !

Mr and Miss Zanotti-Tancini are glad to introduce you to their very special day ! 

For the first time in the history of the town (I'm not joking uh, it's really the first time!) we could get married in a ex church where, since XIX century, there is not roof (before there was a roof, then after years they replaced it but the new one was too heavy and they had to remove it, and since this time the San Francesco Church is without roof!)

I think it is a very romantic place and fortunately the weather was clement : no rain !!

We wanted a simple wedding, for a special day with friends and family and we got it ! 

No rain, not too warm, happiness, love !

Wedding gifts! #1

We are waiting for the 1st of September, the wedding day! We made almost all the thing we had to do for the organization and we can't wait to see our guests and family which will join us from Spain, Portugal, England and Italy of course!
On Monday two of my maids of honour (we will celebrate one wedding in Italy -the civil one- and one in Spain -the religious one- so we have more than two maid and man of honour ) Anna and Lara which are also two of my closest friends came here for dinner and -surprise!- they bring us our first wedding gift! You had to see my face when I opened the box. Maybe once I said them I would like to buy it because I love it, and its design but yesterday I really dindn't expect it !

We were in the living room and I started to jump all around for the happiness! And I had tears in my eyes!

My lovely friends, I really adore them, said that from today onwards I will have to cook them cakes and biscuits for breakfast. Well, consider it done!

Good morning dears!
how are you?
Here in Italy it's rainy today, I don't like rain but I love to sleep with the sound of rain in the background.
Well I like to sleep but Totoro prefers to wake me up every morning between 6.00 and 6.30 (5.30 this morning) ..I don't know what to do to stop my cat alarm clock!
Yesterday my pc died, it had some problems with battery, but Dvd says the real problem is that the hard disk is broken..so no way to save it. All the pattern I saved in 3 years are gone..God bless Raverly! Fortunately all the pictures of our life are in the other hard disk (the outside one) and in the pc of Dvd. Today Dvd will bring me to the shop to buy another one netbook (God bless Dvd!)

Rose

Oggi, ieri, domani, fino a venerdì, sarò sola a casa, certo c'è Totoro, ma non il mio adorato Dvd. Quando sono sola penso molto alla mia vita, alla mia famiglia, ai miei amici e spesso divento triste, non perchè sono infelice, mi piace la mia vita, non so perchè..quindi per cercare di stare serena oggi, guarderò le rose che Dvd mi ha regalato  a ottobre.

Today, yesterday, tomorrow, until Friday in the evening, I will be lonely at home, sure there is Totoro, but not my lovely Dvd. When I'm alone I think so much about my life, my family, my friends and often I become sad, not because I'm unhappy, I like my all life, I don't know why..so to try to be calm today I will look at roses Dvd gave my as a gift in October.

Un caldo regalo..finito!

Domenica andrò a trovare i miei nonni e per fortuna sono riuscita a finire lo scialle che vorrei regalare alla mia adorata nonnina, Elena. Non ci sentiamo molto per telefono, ma io penso a lei tutti i giorni, mi manca tanto e anche io le manco; me lo ha detto un giorno e mi veniva da piangere, perché con lei non riesco ad esprimere tutto quello che vorrei a parole. Allora ho pensato di prepararle qualcosa con le mie mani, qualcosa di caldo, fatto con amore e dedizione. L'ho finito oggi pomeriggio (nonostante il braccio indolenzito dalla donazione di sangue di questa mattina). Spero davvero che le piaccia. E' stata lei ad insegnarmi a lavorare all'uncinetto, a ricamare quando ero una bambina e dopo tanti anni di inattività credo proprio di aver fatto un ottimo lavoro! 

On Sunday I will go to my grandparents' house and luckily I finished the shawl I would give as a gift to my adored grandmother, Elena. We don't call each other every day but I think of her every day, I miss her so much and I miss to her too, once she said it to me and I was close to tears because sometimes  I can't express myself as I would with words. So, I thought to do for her something with my hands, something warm, made with love and devotion. I finished it today and I really hope she will like it. When I was a child my grandma taught me to crochet and to embroider and after lots of years without crocheting I really think I have done a good work!

Il Giorno Più Bello

Il 21 di Maggio, Dvd durante uno splendido weekend romantico in Toscana, mi ha chiesto di sposarlo. Una proposta con la P maiuscola con anello e con un panorama mozzafiato. Perché lui mi conosce, e sa quanto mi piaccia la campagna, così simile a quella dove sono cresciuta, dove ho lasciato un pezzetto di cuore! Ci siamo seduti sul prato, all'abbazia di Sant'Antimo (quale altra scelta possibile per un ,medievista doc?) e lì un po' titubante mi ha fatto la fatidica domanda *.*

The 21th of May, Dvd asked me to merry him, during a wonderful weekend in Tuscany. I love the country, I lived in a very very small village in the Marche coutryside for 11 years and I dropped (?) there a piece of my heart. We were seated on the grass in front of Sant'Antimo Abbey, and it was a very wonderfull day. I show you some pictures of the Day and of the weekend  *.*
