Muffin #2

Buongiorno!
sono viva, ma durante il weekend mi sono dedicata allo scialle per mia nonna, sabato vado a casa e vorrei darglielo. Spero proprio che le piaccia il mio regalo!
Eravamo rimasti ai muffin, arancia e mandorle. A Dvd sono piaciuti, invece secondo me sapevano troppo di arancia e non credo che li rifarò! Pazienza, ci sono altre mille ricette che devo ancora provare, non mi abbatto!

Good morning,
I'm alive, but during the weekend I continued the shawl for my grandmother. On Sunday I will go home and  I want to give it to her. I really hope she will like my present!
But, we were speaking about muffin: orange and almonds. Dvd said they taste good, but I think there is so much orange. Never mind, I can try lots of other recipes!

Muffin !

Questa mattina avevo proprio voglia di preparare qualcosa di buono, facile e veloce, e ho scelto i muffin!
Li ho fatto con mandorle e arance, e credo che saranno deliziosi!
Ma prima di mangiarli aspetterò l'ora del te, perché probabilmente una mia amica verrà a trovarmi, poi vi dirò se sono buoni!

This morning I wanted to cook something greedy and fast to prepare and I choose muffins !
I made them with orange and almonds, and I think they will be delicious!
But before eating them I will wait tea time, because probably a friend of mine will come to see me, then I will tell you if they taste good !

Vi piacciono i pirottini che ho scelto? Io penso che siano molto carini!

Precisazione (Clarification)

Buona sera,
di solito non parlo di politica, ma adesso, credo di dover fare una precisazione.
Sono orgogliosa di dirvi che nonfaccio parte di quegli italiani che hanno votato per Berlusconi.
Non ho MAI, mai votato per lui. Credo che sia una persona imbarazzante. Grazie a lui l'intero mondo ride di noi.
Quindi, volevo chiarire il mio punto di vista.

Da questo momento, niente più post di politica, scusate!

usually I do not talk politics, but now I think more precise information is needed .
I'm proud to tell you that I'm not part of those Italian which voted for Mr Berlusconi.
I NEVER, never voted for him. I think that him is an embarrassing person. Thanks to him the entire world laugh at us.
So, I feel duty bound to clarify my view .

Oh Oh Oh!! Questa mattina è arrivato il mio pacco!
Due settimane fa ho ordinato dei gomitoli per continuare la mia coperta . Avevo già diversi colori ma me ne mancavano molti altri e ...ta-daaaa !!

Oh Oh Oh! This morning my package arrived!
Two weeks ago I ordered some balls of wool to go on with my blanket . I already had some colours but I missed so many other and ...ta-daaaa !!

Presine #2

Come progettato, ieri mi sono dedicata alle presine, questa volta non avevo voglia di seguire uno schema, così ho fatto qualcosa di molto semplice, niente di che, ma tanto so già che avranno vita breve!

As planned,  yesterday I made some potholder. This time I didn't want to follow patterns so I made something really easy to do, nothing special, but I already know they will not last long!

Presine

In due anni ho accumulato così tanti filati che non so più dove metterli, così ho deciso di smaltire almeno quei gomitoli che posso utilizzare per piccoli lavoretti.
Quindi oggi, domenica piovosa e grigia, mi dedicherò alle presine, che non bastano mai, dato che riesco a distruggerle in un nanosecondo (con queste cercherò di stare più attenta!)

During two years I stored so much yarn that I have no more space to put it, so today, a grey and rainy day, I decided to do some potholders, because I just can't get enough..yes I'm able to destroy them in a while!

I decided to knit them instead of crochet because I'm not really a good knitter, so with this kind of works I can practise a little bit.

Il Giorno Più Bello

Il 21 di Maggio, Dvd durante uno splendido weekend romantico in Toscana, mi ha chiesto di sposarlo. Una proposta con la P maiuscola con anello e con un panorama mozzafiato. Perché lui mi conosce, e sa quanto mi piaccia la campagna, così simile a quella dove sono cresciuta, dove ho lasciato un pezzetto di cuore! Ci siamo seduti sul prato, all'abbazia di Sant'Antimo (quale altra scelta possibile per un ,medievista doc?) e lì un po' titubante mi ha fatto la fatidica domanda *.*

The 21th of May, Dvd asked me to merry him, during a wonderful weekend in Tuscany. I love the country, I lived in a very very small village in the Marche coutryside for 11 years and I dropped (?) there a piece of my heart. We were seated on the grass in front of Sant'Antimo Abbey, and it was a very wonderfull day. I show you some pictures of the Day and of the weekend  *.*
